Monster's

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

I know on an intellectual level these Monsters have been in existence since the beginning of time probably. I don’t know if it’s the expansion in technology but it seems these Monsters are everywhere. It seems at least once a month you hear another story of another child missing and then they are found dead. You see possible suspects in jail and you learn of their life and hear their criminal rap sheet. Most of them just getting out or been in prison for molesting or raping a child.

Too many tragedies are happening with our children. Our kids are being targeted and preyed upon by school teachers, perverts on the internet, prostitution rings, friends, family, their own Parents, other children and so many others. That’s the problem Monsters don’t have the same profile. They can be a Priest, Police Officer, Teacher, Minister, Banker, Crack Head, Social Worker, CEO, Fireman, Street Whore, Trash Collector, Neighbor or Friend. They are White, Black, Hispanic, Indian, African, Asian, and Middle Eastern. They are men and recent history has shown us women as well. Most of them sit across from you everyday while you work and talk about how little Suzy just got her first tooth or what they will be doing for the holidays. A lot of them get up every morning brush their teeth, put on nice clothes, ride off in nice cars and come in with donuts and bagels for the team. That’s why you always hear “I just can’t believe he would do that”; “he seemed like such a nice guy”; “she was so sweet and quiet. I can’t imagine her doing something like that”. The thing about the Monsters is the Devil has trained them well. They wear more masks than we do. There like face shifters you see one thing but those innocent children while being raped, molested or killed see the real face. The demon faces of these Monsters.

We usually hear stories of the children that were murdered. What about the ones who have to live with a Monster everyday. How do those kids cope? Well for the most part they grow up with more masks than us to. They have a mask of secrecy, a mask of shame and a mask of fear. That’s too many masks for such a precious, young and innocent life.
